Nicole's asthma condition has taken a turn for the worse last night. She awoke not breathing any better and asked to be taken to a doctor. The good thing about her is she knows when she cannot take it any more and will request for medical aid.
We arrived at Klinik Oh in SS2 at about 11.00am and Dr. Oh, a wonderful lady with a calming presence said Nic had to be on the nebulizer immediately. What was to follow next was like a wrestling match as she struggled so hard she hit my keloid with her head. That hurt so bad! So up steps the nurse who remarked somewhat sarcastically that my daughter was stronger than me. Well she took back what she said when she too had a hard time subduing Nic. Trust me, Nic is very strong for a little two year old.
After an eternity the treatment was done and Dr. Oh taught me what to look out for to pre-empt another attack. One thing she said was that Nicole is a strong-willed child and we would have to be extra careful with her.
