Church Discovery Days

Nic attended our church's Discovery Days kids program held over two full days. Yesterday (day one) was a lot of fun and Nic came home very tired. She said she enjoyed it very much and that they had many fun activities.

The majority of the children came from a couple of orphanages while another were from a group of single moms. Pastor Reynold said that in one case the mother could only afford to feed her baby, wait for it - Chinese tea. Yes there are indeed folks living in desperate conditions.

Today the main program was the visit to the KL Bird Park. We were invited to come by at 4pm for tea and we watched the kids do their presentation - each group sang their song.

Sunday School

Nic attended Sunday School after a lapse of about 5 weeks or so. Sue accompanied her as I stayed home still bogged down by a nagging cough.

What timing! It's Easter next Sunday and Nicole will be participating in her class presentation on stage. This is gonna be fun. The last one she took part in was when she lost her balance and fell while jumping about.

Little Drummer Girl

Nic has some interest in music and today she insisted to play the drums at church. Of course we waited for the service to end before she ran onto the stage and gave it a go. I must say she does have some music sense.
