The fever did not stop her from doing stuff she likes, watching Braveheart (yes, it is already 5 weeks now), Kung Fu Panda (thanks Sarah) and playing Stronghold (a 2001 pc RTS game simulating castle sieges) on the notebook. See the connection? Braveheart & Stronghold? She has it big for William Wallace or Mel Gibson, whatever. I forgot to mention that she knows how to log on/off the internet now.
I had a less than good sleep as I woke to monitor Nic's temperature through last night. It felt pretty high. She still had a temperature of 39 Celsius this morning so we decided to let her skip kindy. Despite the fever she was still in high spirits, talking non-stop.
I took her to the clinic at midday and our major concern was dengue to which the doc said it was too early to tell. If her fever does not go away after 48 hours then dengue could be a possibility. After that we stopped by the coffeeshop nearby and packed lunch.
Next we headed to grandma's in SS2 where Nic, to my surprise enjoyed her fish porridge and we stayed on until 3pm as she wanted to watch her shows on Cartoon Network. She slept from 3.30pm to about 7.00pm.
