We checked out of Colmar at around 1.30pm and decided to have lunch anywhere after three not too exciting meals there. We stopped at the first place upon exiting Colmar, Kampung Bukit Tinggi. Oh what the heck, it can't be any worse than what we had.
There was a single row of shops with so many restaurants. We had lunch at Restaurant 126. The simple meal of a large fish, vege, tofu, a beer and soft drink came out to be RM37 (USD10.69).
Next we decided to make a stop at Genting Highlands as Nic has not been there before. At 6000 feet above sea level it is a lot cooler (68 degrees F) than Bukit Tinggi. We arrived at the top at around 3pm and made our way to the outdoor theme park. All in we went on four rides (Tea Cup, Astro Fighter, Pirate Train and Antique Car) before we stopped for a drink in the inddor theme park. I was real tired by now as Nic refused to walk and I had to lug her around for two hours. We left the resort at at 5.30pm and made it through the Friday traffic and back home by 7pm.
