Light Rail Transit (LRT) Fun

We hopped onto the LRT at the Taman Bahagia station and decided to head to Berjaya Times Square as none of us has been there before. For Sue and Nic it was their first time on the LRT and Nic was ecstatic throughout. Despite a few civic-minded fellow mankind (I say that coz you can't tell they are Malaysians for sure) she declined their offers as she loved to stand and sway to the twists and turns of the coach. She was seated (pic) for a mere few seconds.

We exited at KL Sentral station as we had to switch to the KL Monorel which is located about 1km away on Jalan Tun Sambanthan. This is where the modern rail transit system cocks-up big time. We had to exit the station and walk past a bus terminal with buses spewing exhaust fumes at us then walk another 200 meters and pass a busy road. Then the monorail station was not air-conditioned and it was a hot day so you get all the smells of perspiration around you.

We boarded the coach and reached the Imbi station and Times Square was thankfully connected. As for the mall itself it was like any other except it was humongous with 9 floors of shopping.

All in it was a good experience and Nic is already asking when we could do it all again.
